(& the Norfolk Bee Keepers Autumn Fair)
Are you looking for a free day out with lots of things to do? Then come and join us at Easton College on the 13th October at an activity packed day learning about Norfolk’s wildlife.
This year Wild About Norfolk has around 40 exhibitors ranging from local groups like Woodlice and Archaeological Bones, Norwich Bat Group and Wymondham Nature Group (WyNG) to the larger organisations such as the RSPB, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Butterfly Conservation. This year, organisers are also proud to host Norfolk Bee Keeper’s Autumn Fair. You can also talk to staff at Norfolk Biodiversity Partnership, one of our sponsors (the other being the John Jarrold Trust), and learn about recording Norfolk’s wildlife from the rarest of our spiders to the hedgehog in your garden.
In addition to the numerous activities, which include bird box making, brass rubbings and nature walks, you can also watch the UEA Ringing Group catch and ring birds and go on a tractor and trailer ride with the Easton College (our kind hosts). Which, if last year was anything to go by, really is WILD.
Doors open at 10am until 4pm. Light refreshments and ample car parking available.
To find out more about the event, or to exhibit, please visit our website www.wildaboutnorfolk.co.uk or send an email to wildaboutnorfolk@gmail.com.
Wild About Norfolk is organised by the RSPB Norwich Local Group in association with the RSPB Eastern Region and Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
