If you’re holding a conference or business meeting in the City of Norwich, there is perhaps nowhere more austeric and inspiring than the new Hostry Visitor and Education Centre in the Close.
Designed by Hopkins Architects, the Hostry has been constructed on the footprint of the old monastic Hostry, which was the traditional point of welcome for worshippers, pilgrims and students when Bishop Herbert de Losinga founded the monastic community in 1096. It retains and enhances the original features, resulting in a breathtaking marriage of the ancient and the modern.
The Hostry conference room can accommodate 150 people seated, but its open layout means it can be tailored to suit your specific requirements. Alternatively, The Weston Room or The refectory can be hired on a part- or daily basis.
Not strictly just for business, catering and private dining facilities mean that the Hostry and associated buildings are perfect for award ceremonies, parties, weddings, wine tastings and much more.
