Pulse Café Bar

Housed in a fabulous open plan setting in the Old Fire Station stables, Pulse is a vegetarian restaurant with its philosophy planted firmly in the 21st century. While the emphasis is on healthy veggie cuisine – and it is great to be able to choose anything from the menu if you are a non-meat eater – this restaurant is for everybody, whether you choose to avoid meat or not.
Pulse has a modern café culture atmosphere and is great for a coffee or lunch while taking a break from some retail therapy in the City Centre. At night the tone becomes more one of a bar/restaurant and the place is usually bustling with all different types of people enjoying the feeling and the food.
Fresh vibrant flavours in dishes inspired by global cuisine ensure a creative and interesting menu – no run-of-the-mill vegetarian fare here. With mouth-watering delights such as Kashmiri coconut, pumpkin and courgette spring rolls, and portabello mushroom and sweet potato biryani, the fact that the food is wholesome and veggie comes almost as a second thought to the food being delicious.
With regular live entertainment, great homemade cakes and puddings, and a selection of organic wines (including vegan friendly organic wines) and fresh juices, Pulse is a unique and fantastic dining experience in Norwich.
