Reopened in 2007 following extensive refurbishment, The Lodge in North Tuddenham (off the A47 between Dereham and Norwich) is a discovery that is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the best eateries in the area. Under the attentive management of Victoria King and her hardworking staff, The Lodge offers a wonderful alternative to the hurly-burly of the High Street.
Externally, the 19th Century Public House has all the character of a traditional, rural hostelry, complimented by lovely views and an enclosed family garden.
The interior has been carefully updated to create a warm but contemporary feel, and with its relaxed, friendly ambience, The Lodge is a great place to dine.
The menu features locally sourced, fresh produce, prepared by Head Chef Jason Pullen and his dedicated team (that includes Chef Mikey Mann - nominated for Young Chef of the Year in the 2008 EDP Food Awards, and Apprentice Poppie Mann). Good beers, real ales and an extensive wine list round off the experience.
Special occasion or celebration? The restaurant is available for private hire. Small conference bookings are also welcome.
Ample parking is available.
Bar opens Tues-Sat 12Noon. Bar meals are served all day. Evening meals are served 6pm-9.00pm.

Every Tuesday is Takeaway fish & chip night with Large beer battered fish and handcut chips for only £4.95. Phone through your order or alternatively call in and have a drink in front of our open fire whilst waiting for your takeaway to be freshly prepared.
Every Wednesday: ' Pie & Pudding' - 2 courses for only £10 or 3 for £13.95, choose from a selection of ever changing homecooked 'pot' pies weekly with choices such as Steak in Ale, Pork in Aspal Cyder Cream, Chicken & Stilton...
Every Thursday: 'Pensioners lunch' - enjoy 2 courses for only £5.95 (different menu weekly).
