Newly refurbished, St. Benedict’s is an intimate family-run restaurant in the City Centre that offers a fusion of modern British cuisine and French bistro food in welcoming contemporary surroundings.
Run with passion and care by Jayne and Nigel Raffles, who also own top Norwich eateries Pinocchio’s, The Library and Pulse, St. Benedict’s is true to the theme that all four restaurants share – high quality food and friendly, efficient staff.
Expect the highest level of food and service with an ex-Tom Aiken chef using the best local seasonal ingredients.
Also newly decorated is the private dining room that seats up to 24 in comfort - ideal for business meetings, special celebrations or dinner parties.
On the A la Carte menu, starters such as the famous Double Baked Gruyere and Parmesan Soufflé or Pan Fried Scallops with Pressed Tomato Terrine and Basil, Cress and Gazpacho Sauce begin at £4.25, while main courses such as Roast Fillet of Sea-Bream with Crushed White Beans, and Red Pepper Salsa start from £11.95. Wonderfully sinful puddings are available from £4.50.
The beautifully prepared and presented dishes are complimented by an extensive wine list.
While the menu is predominantly meat and fish-based, vegetarian options are always available.
