Brasted’s has a proud (and growing) tradition of offering excellent service and food. Founded in 1984 by John Brasted, Brasted’s Ltd was born of a desire to provide food and wine of the highest quality for appreciative people. Since 1999, Brasted’s has been housed in the comfortable, luxury surroundings of Manor Farm Barns at Framingham Pigot, which, although only a few miles out of the City Centre, boasts all the peace and intimacy of a secluded rural setting – perfect for all kinds of entertaining.
The restaurant has won several awards, including the EDP Restaurant/Chef Of The Year in both 2005 and 2006, and today offers a range of services including event and party catering, wedding ceremonies, corporate conferencing and banqueting.
The innovative menu features a range of delicious combinations of fresh local produce such as North Norfolk Samphire with Seared King Scallops, and the enticing ‘Brasted’s Evening Breakfast’, which includes Wild Boar and Venison Sausage set on a crispy Bacon Salad and topped with a soft poached Hens Egg. There is also plenty to tempt the vegetarian palette.
Starters are around £6.50, with mains at an average of £18. Brasted’s legendary desserts are £6.50 and comprise such temptations as White Chocolate and Blueberry Cheesecake and Hot Local Raspberry Soufflé.
A comprehensive selection of wines, coffees and teas are available to complete your meal.
In addition to the restaurant, Brasted’s features a host of fantastic regular events including wine tasting and cookery demonstrations.
Brasted’s Restaurant is open on Friday and Saturday. Please call for reservations. Advanced booking (3-4 weeks ahead) is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.
