“A refreshing change from the endless chain restaurants that seem to crop up everywhere.....the Brasserie has a lovely intimate feeling", Sarah Hardy, Eastern Daily Press.
"This restaurant is rather special and has created an atmosphere all of its own...it’s a cut above most of the big operators" Derek James, Eastern Evening News
Managed by Simon Turner (Chef and Owner) and his brother James (Front of House), Elm Hill Brasserie has its roots in bistros modernes, the French concept of simple but delicious food, served in relaxed and unpretentious surroundings.
Produce is delivered daily from award-winning and all-local suppliers, enabling the creation of seasonally inspired menus that change regularly.
Wines are personally selected and take their lead from the food, being simple, concise and fairly priced. The list is predominantly French, with the exception of a few examples from around the world that were found to work too well with the food to leave out.
Up-to-date menus can be found on the website and vegetarian or other dietary requirements can be catered for by pre-arrangement.
Afterwards, why not try their famous range of French led cheeses, matured to perfection in house and served with biscuits, followed by a classic brasserie dessert of house made lemon tart or classic vanilla pod crème brulee?
Open for lunch Tues-Sat from 12.30pm-2.30pm and evenings from 7.00pm. Earlier bookings by reservations.
