As part of the UK-wide Loch Fyne chain of restaurants that originated on the shores of Loch Fyne in Scotland, the Norwich restaurant offers the very best in fish and shellfish dishes.
Centrally located on St Giles, the restaurant has a stylish, airy feel with an excellent choice of fish recipes as well as some meat dishes, salads and vegetarian options.
The Loch Fyne Company actively seeks out unusual and historic buildings in which to situate their restaurants. The Norwich location is no different, being housed in a building that dates back to the 1700’s. Formerly an ironmongers, the building retains many of its original key features, including the original shop front. A pleasant patio area is available for al fresco dining and a separate bar offers a good range of wines, spirits and soft drinks.
At Loch Fyne the emphasis is on fresh produce, prepared simply but with style, using only the best quality ingredients to allow the delicate flavours of the natural fish, shellfish and seafood to be enjoyed. Seafood dishes are cooked to order and cold dishes are prepared in front of you from their impressive array or seafood on ice.
Oysters and mussels are available when in season. A colourful fish counter enables you to buy produce to take home.
Starters and light dishes are an average of £6. Main courses around £10-£17.
