Housed in a fabulous open plan setting in the Old Fire Station stables, Pulse is a modern café bar with a funky, relaxed atmosphere. The emphasis is on healthy veggie cuisine, but the menu is far more interesting than merely carrot sticks, salad and seeds! Pulse is for everybody, whether you choose to avoid meat or not.
By day, Pulse has a vibrant café culture atmosphere. With 42 seats inside and a further 25 downstairs in the sunlit outside courtyard, it is a great place to take a break from shopping or to pop out to from work for a coffee or some lunch.
If you’re in a hurry, why not take out panninis, coffees, soup or smoothies?
At night the tone becomes one of a bar/restaurant and the place is usually bustling with all different types of people enjoying the feeling and the food.
With regular live entertainment, mouth-watering homemade cakes and puddings, and a selection of organic wines (including vegan friendly organic wines) and fresh juices, Pulse is an aptly named Norwich café bar that is well worth checking out.
