Established and successful, yet understated from the street, it is just the sort of fabulous independent boutique (should that be boy-tique?) that makes a trip to the Norwich Lanes worthwhile.

Inside is styled to be a trendy mix of masculinity and modernity, and you’ll find everything from underwear to footwear, with labels such as Vivienne Westwood, Liberty of London, Adidas Originals, Diesel, Barbour and Fred Perry Vintage.

Having blazed trails in the 80s and 90s when it sold the first collections by the likes of Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano, Philip Browne still embraces the fresh talents of new designers, encouraging men to be bold with their style and saluting both fashion and creative design.

Philip Browne has been nominated and won prestigious awards such as Drapers Record’s Independent Retailer of the Year to FHM’s Designer Retailer of the Year for East Anglia. Philip Browne recently received a runner-up award for being shortlisted in the final 3 in the ‘Best Men’s Fashion’ category, The Telegraph Best Small Shops in Britain Awards 2011.
