1. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY
The Whisky Shop offers you the chance to taste whisky before you buy. There are always some bottles open and customers can taste whisky from the shop's casks. The shop hosts regular in-store tasting evenings and associate whisky consultant Dominic Roskrow is often on hand to answer any questions you might have on all things Whisky-related. Through his Company, True Spirit, Dominic also hosts fun and informative whisky evenings throughout the county.
2. GLENKEIR TREASURES
In addition to all the famous brands, The Whisky Shop has its own range of specially selected malts under the Glenkeir Treasure label. Four of them are stored in casks and are bottled by staff in the shop.
3. SMALLER MEASURES
The Whisky Shop offers some of its whiskies in miniatures, in 10cl 'double double' size and in 20cl sample bottles, so you don't have to break the bank to taste great whisky.
Whatever your level of interest, friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide through the shelves. And if you think you don't like whisky, then think again - you might surprise yourself.

The Whisky Shop tells us: " We've taken delivery of a whole slew of new whiskies. One or two of these are open, so pop in a have a dram. We've been asked since day one for the Glenfarclas 105, a delightfully rich, cask strength whisky with a nose to die for. Finally we have this in stock, alongside the 10, 15, 21, 25 and 30 year olds. One of our regulars popped in to say hello, clocked the 15 y.o. and leapt on it - indeed, Jim Murray's review of it in his Whisky Bible is rhapsodic as he gives it 95/100.
We've also taken delivery of the superbly sherried Glendronachs (12, 15 and 18 y.o.), the peated Speysider Old Ballantruan, the sweeter, by Royal Approval, Royal Lochnagar, the madeira-casked Welsh single malt, Penderyn, the popular Bulleit bourbon, the multi-layered Clan Denny Islay vatted malt, and a number of newer and older Tomintouls, a lovely, fruity yet light Speysider from the Glenlivet region. There's also a number of new, rare expressions from the Old Malt Cask and Provenance ranges, many available to try instore.
We've never been as well stocked as this, and we've even got a new Glenkeir Treasure in the shop, a fragrant Deanston 12 y.o. with a spicy-sweet aftertaste, as ever only available through our shops. There's plenty more new ones I've not mentioned - you'll have to pop in and have a look, and maybe a taste".
