With five gold stars and five gorgeous rooms, 38 St Giles is far more a baby boutique hotel than simply a bed and breakfast.
Housed in a beautiful Georgian townhouse in the heart of Norwich, you would be forgiven for thinking you were staying at one of London’s most intimate and eclectic retreats. All five en-suite bedrooms have been individually styled with high quality furnishings and are decorated to deliver a relaxing and comfortable ambience. Accessories in each room include Bang & Olufsen televisions (equipped with Virgin media), tea and coffee making facilities, water, fresh fruit, bathrobes and a generous selection of towels, lotions and potions. All bedrooms are also equipped with free wireless Internet access.
The Blue Room (described as an intimate single) is a cosy room, finished in calming colours (the owners’ favourite room, apparently). This room is £90 per night including a hearty breakfast. A supplement of £20 is added for two people sharing.
The Green Room (a large double) on the ground floor boasts wooden floors with handmade rugs and an original fireplace. A large bed with sumptuous duvets and linens will ensure you enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep. Prices for this room are £140 per night including a hearty breakfast. Single occupancy is £110 per night.
The Brown Room is more of a suite, being made up of a huge double bedroom with an adjacent small lounge area (with sofa bed) and separate shower room and WC. Ideal for extended stays (you’ll feel very at home!) or for families with children (max. two children), this room gives you the extra space you need if you like to spread out.
Prices for this room are £160 per night including a hearty breakfast (two guests). Single occupancy is £120 per night. Children are welcome at a supplement of £10 per child.
Two freshly added rooms include a large double (£140 per night or £110 single) and a double (£130 per night or £100 single). Please call for further information about these rooms.
Ideal for exploring Norwich and beyond, or if you are visiting the City for business, 38 St Giles is a delicious secret of a bed & breakfast among those ‘in the know’.
