Starting the year with a brand new website and a fresh new styling to their branding, Hunter’s Hall in Swanton Morley is going from strength to strength in terms of success, making it one of our County’s true jewels.
Last year saw Arable and livestock Farmer John Carrick receive the accolade of being runner-up in the Suffolk Agricultural Association's 2008 Best Alternative Land Enterprise (BALE) Award for his conversion of a formerly redundant Victorian brick and tile barn into a specialist conference and wedding venue. That venue - Hunter's Hall, also boasts on-site 4-Star accommodation and a camping site. |

Situated within the lush natural surroundings of Park Farm (a working farm with a rather special pedigree herd of rare breed White Park cattle), Hunter’s Hall is the ideal canvas for your most ambitious dreams.

Fancy a wedding in the style of a medieval banquet complete with wedding cake made from cheese? Not a problem. The refurbished banqueting hall with exposed timber and subdued lighting easily accommodates up to 200 guests. Perhaps you’ve always pictured yourself and your new spouse departing by helicopter after your Big Day? All possible here - you just have to ask.

If it’s simply a romantic getaway you’re dreaming of, then the Guest House accommodation at Hunter’s Hall won’t disappoint. 4-star with well-equipped, beautifully appointed rooms and the likes of waitress service in the breakfast room, you can do as much or as little as you like during your stay (fishing, walking, cycling, or simply relaxing with a glass of wine and watching the sun set from the patio).

Perhaps all this sounds too good to be true? It gets better… Hunter’s Hall is also awaiting grading as a ‘Green Business’ in recognition for their commitment to maintaining high environmentally sound work practices.
While it does not pretend to be a metropolitan, boutique destination, Hunter’s Hall maintains a modest air of ‘old luxury’ throughout, spiced with a healthy dash of contemporary loveliness and, obviously, a large dose of sympathy for its rural, natural surroundings. With a friendly and dedicated team on hand to ensure you get exactly what you want from your day or stay there, and their green credentials speaking for themselves, it’s a fairytale venue with a modern conscience. Lovely. |
