5-star silver-awarded (enjoyEngland.com), The Grove has three beautiful large double rooms – Trowse, Thorpe and Carrow. Recently redecorated to incorporate a stunning ‘feature wall’, all are individually styled and appointed with the highest quality furnishings. In each you will find a wrought iron/brass bed (King-size in Thorpe), sumptuous bedding (goose down duvets and pillows), a sofa or chair, flat screen TV with integrated DVD player and satellite (free use of The Grove’s DVD library), Tea/coffee making facilities (with a variety of teas, fresh coffee with Cafetiere, complimentary fresh milk and mineral water), individually thermostatically controlled central heating and a hairdryer. All rooms retain their wonderful original fixtures including high ceilings, exposed floorboards, fireplaces and large sash windows. Thorpe and Trowse rooms overlook the pretty garden. You can catch glimpses of Norwich’s Norman Cathedral from Carrow room.
Aside from the loveliness of the bedrooms, the associated en-suite bathrooms are noteworthy. Formerly bedrooms themselves, they are far larger than most B&B en-suites you might find, and include roll-top baths, showers and a host of other delightful facets.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast featuring fresh local produce in The Grove’s airy, sunny breakfast room before embarking on a day of sightseeing or shopping.
