Associated with a string of awards (Young Chef of the Year, Nominee in 4 categories in the 2008 Good Food Awards, Finalist in the Aylsham Local Food Heroes Awards), The Lodge Restaurant & Bar in North Tuddenham (off the A47 between Dereham and Norwich) is a discovery that has a deserved reputation as one of the best eateries in the area. Under the attentive management of Victoria King and her hardworking staff, The Lodge offers a wonderful alternative to the hurly-burly of the High Street.
Externally, the 19th Century Public House has all the character of a traditional, rural hostelry, complimented by lovely views and a newly created outside eating area.
The interior has been carefully updated to create a warm but contemporary feel, and with its relaxed, friendly ambience, The Lodge Restaurant is a great place to dine.
The menu features locally sourced, fresh produce, prepared by Head Chef Jason Pullen and his dedicated team (that includes Second Chef Alex Chapman, formerly at The Honningham Buck and Apprentice Poppie Mann, winner of a Young Chef Competition in 2010). Good beers, real ales and an extensive wine list round off the experience.
Wedding, special occasion or celebration? The Lodge restaurant is available for private hire. Small conference bookings are also welcome.

Every Tuesday night is Takeaway Tuesday: Take home beer battered cod and handcut chunky chips or chips with a jumbo sausage. Phone through your order on 01362 638466 or call in and have a drink in front of our open fire whilst waiting for your takeaway to be freshly prepared.
Thursday is Pensioners Lunch day – 12 – 3pm – 20% discount off any menu items.
