Deceptively concealed behind its charming Georgian façade on Elm Hill in Norwich, the Crome Gallery is a pure delight for lovers of art of all styles.
In this stunning and historically valuable location since it’s opening in 1969, four galleries house original oils, watercolours, prints and sculptures by local and national artists from the 18th century right up until the present day. Whether you are a fan of ‘old school’ traditional art or prefer the contemporary styles of modern day, there will be something here that appeals to your tastes.
Complementing the wonderful works on display and for sale, the Crome Gallery offers all manner of additional support services for art enthusiasts. These include a specialist framing service for oil paintings, prints, photographs, medals, textiles and sporting memorabilia (the National Gallery is a previous client) and a conservation and restoration service for paintings, prints and period frames. A Giclée printing facility offers outstanding print quality on fine art papers and greetings cards, while a print finding service will help locate the print you’re looking for if you’re having trouble finding it yourself.
If you have artistic leanings yourself and are looking for an inspirational space to showcase your work, the Crome Gallery offers a large gallery room for hire for exhibitions.
